“ I stopped with a friend for a quick lunch, neither of us had been before but it was close. We were very happy with the food and the service. Our server was very friendly, the food came out quickly and you could tell it had been freshly prepared. I would definitely stop here again. I had the chicken and beet salad and my friend had the Cobb Salad. She also placed a takeout order for her spouse and that order was timed perfectly to come out as we were ready to leave. ”
“ Service was outstanding, food was delicious, drinks are solid. We ordered burgers, mine was with a gluten free bun, it was delicious even better then "fix" in my opinion. Highly recommend this place, it's clean, fresh food You should try it! ”
“ Full disclosure, I've been inside OBT a couple of times, but I am almost ashamed to admit how often I get take out from here. Any time I'm in the mood for a burger, this tends to be my go-to for ordering in. Consistency with their food is always on point, which goes a long way for me. The atmosphere inside is just your average tavern feel. The staff have always been very friendly, love a chatty bartender. A lot of the patrons were groups or family's with kids, so definitely more of that feel than like a young hip date spot. ”
“ Finally I got to try Oak Barrel Tavern in Worcester. What took me so long to try such a very good place? The food is great, taste and portion wise. Fried pickles are of the best I’ve had so far. The bourbon burger was awesome. Just the smell of it makes you start as soon as it gets to your table. The staff are very friendly. Do hesitate to go and try this special place in Worcester. ”
“ Where do I even begin? Recently renovated and gorgeous interior, even the waiting area feels nice even when they're absolutely PACKED on a Friday night. The wings are phenomenal, and even though I've only had the buffalo and stinger so far, I'm confident the other flavors are just as amazing. The burgers, from the short rib burger special to the classic cheeseburger, and even the fish sandwich have been perfectly cooked with phenomenal flavors. All this without even mentioning the drinks! The selection of whiskey is second to none in the Worcester area, but I have to highly recommend their Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale as well for an amazingly balanced and nuanced ale with hints of vanilla and oak, will definitely be back for that alone. If you're in Holden/Worcester and haven't stopped in yet, you're missing out on of the best restaurants/taverns in the area! ”
“ First time here. The food we had was good. The decor is brand new and very nice and inviting. Everyone working here is fantastic. Lots of great beers on tap. They have a patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. Loads of free parking. I recommend this place. ”
“ When the wife greets you at the door & says too tired to cook let's GrubHub! Many trusted options, but tonight we tried something new.. Glad we did! Everything arrived HOT and even presentable. Best onion rings on planet earth, guaranteed! Quesadilla were incredibly delicious and stuffed with good quality meat & Cheese. French fries were perfect, better than any other restaurant in area. Wings were tasty too. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Did I mention the onion rings.... ”
“ We had some family visiting in between travel stops, and we needed to find a lunch place close to home at the last minute. We were able to call at 11:30 AM and make reservations for 4 at 12:15 PM on Father's Day. We were seated immediately. Our server Violetta was friendly and joked with each of us at the table during different portions of service. It was just the right amount. She checked on us regularly during service, also. We could not be more pleased with our service today. I ordered the clam chowder for 8.00. The serving was a good size. It was filling and tasted good. For my main I ordered the Greek Salad with Greek dressing. The toasted pita triangles were perfectly prepared, and I enjoyed the many Kalamata olives as well as the salad dressing. My wife ordered the Flatbread special of pear, goat cheese, and arugula. Based on our positive experience that checked every box from the taste of food to the excellent service, we will definitely be back for a meal soon. ”
